22A is 100% crushed quarry stone, sized 1" and under, containing approximately 4-8% clay or silt. This material offers excellent compaction, making it ideal for projects that require a strong, stable base.

1" minus crushed stone with higher fines content 

23 Road Gravel is a 100% crushed quarry stone, sized 1" and under, with a higher fines content that 22A - approximately 9-16% silt or clay. Due to increasing fines, this material does not drain water well but provides a firm, compacted surface.

Common Uses

• Building up road shoulders
• Maintaining gravel roads 
• Edge support along paved or gravel surfaces 

Best suited for applications where compaction and surface stability are more important that drainage. 

Washed, screened sand with low fines 

2NS Concrete Sand is washed and screened sand containing less than 3% silt. Because of its low fines content, it does not compact well, but provides excellent drainage and consistency. 

Common Uses

• Septic system filler media 
• Fine aggregate for concrete 
• Asphalt mixes

3/8" washed natural or crushed washed stone
